Love the quality. materials feel nice and seems very waterproof as I would expect from sealskinz. I like the ability to fold and it works well. I was concerned it might not fit as I have a large head but it is fully adjustable and fits perfectly. It's lightweight and looks great to wear. The price is not cheap but this certainly is a premium product.

Tried on my first Wainwright walk after purchasing and really put it to the test. Cumbria is well know for its changeable weather! Rain: kept my head dry, Wind: stayed on my head and temp at the top: kept my head cosy. Brilliant for my wildlife photography too. All in all, very happy

I have used this hat for over a year now before writing this review. This hat has kept my head dry during downpours. I love the folding aspect so I know I can just tuck it into small bags or pockets if I need it. My only concern was the elastic bit at the back has stretched a bit but not to the point that it's unusable. Would recommend to someone who likes to have a hat with them just in case it might rain or would be too hot later in the day or if you want to carry one on your travels . It folds up nicely but it retains a hat shape once on your head. The Branding is also very subtle.
